Professional Refreshment Program on "Curriculum Changes for Science & Technology and Management (Pokhara University)"

NAST College, with financial support from the University Grants Commission (UGC) Nepal, successfully organized “A Three-Day Professional Refreshment Program on Curriculum Changes for Science & Technology and Management” (Pokhara University) from April 30 to May 2, 2026. The inaugural session was graced by Chief Guest Associate Prof. Dr. Khem Raj Joshi, Registrar, Sahid Dashrathchand Swasthya Bigyan University Geta Kailali, Special Guest Mr. Shivahari Sharma Mudbhari, Managing Director, NAST College, under the chairpersonship of Dr. Prem Bdr. Chand, Principal, NAST College. The welcome speech was delivered by Er. Rajendra Saud, Program Coordinator, and the program was formally hosted by Mr. Shankar Joshi, Lecturer, NAST College.
In the program there was active participation from Pokhara University-affiliated institutions, including Amity College Mahendranagar, Brixton College Mahendranagar, Rapti Engineering College Dang, NWA College Dhangadhi, and NAST College. Distinguished resource persons—Prof. Dr. Hem Raj Pant, Former Registrar, Far Western University; Prof. Dr. Govind Prasad Lamichhane and Associate prof. Dr. Deepanjal Shrestha, School of Engineering, Pokhara University; Associate prof. Dr. Rabindra Ghimire, School of Management, Pokhara University; and Prof. Dr. Roshan Chitrakar, Chairperson, Research Committee, NCIT—delivered insightful sessions focusing on contemporary curriculum reforms, innovative pedagogical practices, and quality assurance in higher education.
The program served as a valuable platform for professional development, fostering academic collaboration and reaffirming NAST College’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in higher education.
