Day One
The Research Management Cell (RMC) of NAST, supported by the University Grants Commission of Nepal, organized a three-day workshop on Data Management and Analysis. The event commenced in the conference hall of NAST College, inaugurated by former Far Western University Registrar, Prof. Dr. Hem Raj Pant. The principal of the college, Dr. Prem Bahadur Chand, was the Chairperson and Dr. Namraj Dhami, PURC Director, was the distinguished guest. Prof. Pant shared his precious insights on the prominence of research in higher education and its practical applications in everyday life, illustrating his points with various instances. The head of the research department and co-coordinator of the program, Mr. Prem Raj Joshi, delivered the welcome speech, and Dr. Prem Bahadur Chand concluded the opening session with words of inspiration.
Approximately 45 faculty members from various colleges in Kailali, Kanchanpur, and Nepalgunj, along with senior BE Computer and BCA students, participated. According to participants’ feedback, the program was highly insightful, effectively addressing the complexities of Data Management and Analysis using Python, a globally in-demand programming language. Managing Director of NAST, Mr. Shivhari Sharma Mudbhari, conveyed the closing remarks, highlighting the significance of the program and inspiring the organization of similar events regularly. The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates of participation and appreciation. The program was hosted by lecturer Mr. Shankar Datt Joshi.

NAST College, in support of UGC Nepal, is Organizing A Three Day Workshop on “Data Management and Analysis” on 30th May, in the seminar hall of NAST College. This workshop is designed to elevate participants’ competencies in data handling and interpretation, thereby advancing their expertise in data management and analysis while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among attendees.
Day 3
NAST College, in support of UGC Nepal, is Organizing A Three Day Workshop on “Data Management and Analysis” on 31st May, in the seminar hall of NAST College. This workshop is designed to elevate participants’ competencies in data handling and interpretation, thereby advancing their expertise in data management and analysis while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among attendees.
